Biological Collections Action Center Discussion Topics

Several collaborators (see list below) have organized a series of webinars focused on Envisioning a Biological Collections Action Center as proposed in the recent NASEM report (see list of organizers below) and authorized by the CHIPS and Science Act. The first two webinars are scheduled for 7 and 14 March 2023 and will feature the co-authors of the NASEM report. The third webinar is scheduled for 21 March and will feature representatives from the Interagency Working Group on Scientific Collections, AIBS, and BCoN. All webinars will be held from 1-2 p.m. Eastern. To help us gather community perspectives about the efficacy and potential benefit of a Biological Collections Action Center to U.S. collections, we have established this Discourse page tp promote input.
